Freelance Writer / Copywriter / Editor

We are looking to hire a Copywriter for creative and fast-paced retail client In this role, you'll create compelling, detailed copy for marketing assists, campaigns, site experiences and social media. You will have the chance to contribute to the innovation and conceptualizing for brand and seasonal campaigns.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Graphic Designers, Marketers and other team members to come up with creative solutions to meet business goals.

Compose copy about a range of topics for various asset types, including but not limited to paid and owned social channels, site assets, emails, digital ads, store signage, printed mailers, large scale campaigns, brainstorms, pitch decks, video scripts, and more.

Qualifications

Educational background in Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or related field.
Experience working as a copywriter for a retail/e-commerce brand
Ability to work autonomously and self-manage, as well as collaborate closely.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with specific deadlines.
Desire to create friendly and consumer focused copy that meets company brand guidelines
