This is a remote position.
Our customer has AI powered Compliance as a Service (CaaS) platform, aims to augment existing compliance teams with a real-time compliance dashboard, offering a consolidated health assessment for an organization against key regulatory obligations.
The objective of this project is to improve regulatory function and improve compliance for law firms, by consolidating front-line transactional data with compliance rules into one central platform. The application will generate a compliance dashboard that enables firms to have an overarching view of their health assessment across key obligations to remain compliant.
The engagement is Part-Time. 2 full working days in a week, total 8 days in a month. Long-term engagement, possibly renewable for multiple years, Fully Remote.
Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Developing and designing both front and backend systems with quality and readable code adhering to best practices
- To play a full part in web application development process through the stages of conceptualisation, design, application build, test, release and maintenance.
- Maintaining existing code and writing unit tests to ensure the high quality of our web platforms and backend systems
- Diagnose and fix critical bugs identity bottlenecks and improve performance across our services
- Write documentation for new and existing features
- Coordinate and communicate with other team members to deliver products in accordance with business requirements
- Optimising performance of front and backend services.
- Stay in touch with tech trends - bring new ideas and inspiration to the table
- Strong understanding of database design and performance
- Writing database queries creating data models optimising databases performance, etc.
- Strong understanding of Modern Javascript (ES6-8/HTML/CSS/Python)
- Knowledge of npm
- Ideally you will have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with VCS - GitHub
- Strong understanding of web application architecture.
- Strong frontend and backend experience. Techstack - React, Styled-Components, Flask, MySQL, Azure.
- Strong understanding and grasp of REST ful APIs, UX/UI, accessibility, design principles.
- Knowledge of working with environment variables
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with test driven development
- Experience with event driven microservices architecture
- Experience working in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment
- Experience working with the AZURE eco system
Benefits
- Weekly Hours: 16 Hours, (2 working days in a week, 8 working days in a month)
- Monthly Salary: GBP 200.00 per Day all-inclusive basis.
- Over time: Yes (subject to project manager s written approval)
