Job Description

General Role:

• Bring empty pallets into plant, load pallets into pallet dispenser, sort pallets, wrapping pallets, general cleanup in area, manage the inventory on pallet racks, communicate problems effectively and assist in restacking as directed.

• Able to unload trucks and move to proper storage locations

• Utilize all safety equipment such as Stop signs, trailer locks and trailer jacks

• Signed off on hands on test for single double forklift

• Ability to receive materials (Confirmining BOLs, quantities, noting damages and all documentation is in order.)

• Ability to regularly complete loading paperwork documentation (including: cutting of product, noting CHEP quantities and filling out all signatures)

• Accurately identify and load all products without damage

• Has an active role in inventory management through cycle counts or loading demand

• Takes an active role in quality inspections of product

• Proactively communicates issues to production or supervisor

• Has clear knowledge of product weights for loading trucks for optimal weight distribution
