Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced data mining and statistical techniques to analyze and interpret large datasets
• Design and develop machine learning models to address specific financial challenges
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify prioritize and execute data science initiatives
• Enhance data collection procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Build predictive models and algorithms for risk assessment and fraud detection
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover trends and patterns in financial data
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for efficient data processing and analysis
• Implement visualization techniques to present findings and insights to stakeholders
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in data science and fintech
• Provide actionable recommendations based on datadriven insights
• Collaborate with software engineers to deploy and integrate datadriven solutions
• Contribute to the development of datadriven business strategies and product innovations
• Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies for data science and analytics
• Participate in the mentoring and knowledge sharing within the data science team
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements in all datarelated processes

Required Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Economics or related field
• Proven experience in applying data science techniques to financial domain
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or SQL
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Hive
• Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or D3.js
• Solid knowledge of statistical methods and quantitative modeling
• Ability to communicate complex findings and insights to nontechnical stakeholders
• Experience in working with largescale financial datasets and realtime data streams
• Excellent problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work in a dynamic fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Strong commitment to data integrity privacy and security best practices
• Relevant certifications in data science machine learning or finance is advantageous
• Understanding of financial regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
