Open Position: Financial Controller Regional (Semiconductor Manufacturing Company)

A reputable Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is looking for Financial Controller to be join the team and be based in the Penang office. You will be responsible financial operations for multiple Manufacturing plants across Asia regions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and monitor the overall activities covering financial strategy including risk minimisation plans capital forecasting framework and etc
  
• Proactively use available tools to assess existing product profitability identify improvement opportunities and followthrough as required with commercial and operations management
  
• Develop and drive Manufacturing plants profitability improvement ideas and programs through a combination of specified commercial activity cost leakage elimination cost reduction programs and etc
  
• Ensure financial reports are prepared and submitted to the management in timely manner
  
• Keep abreast on the development and policies and provide advice on the impact to business operations regionally
  
• Oversees and/or prepares income and balance sheet profit and loss consolidated and other accounting statements
  
• Ensure tax submission and audit report in timely manner
  
• Work closely with external auditors tax personnel and other relevant parties
  

Key requirements include:

• Holds Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance or professional qualification as such ACCA CPA and etc would be added advantage
  
• More than 10 years of experience in Finance Accounting Auditing and etc
  
• Good people management and leadership skills to lead the team and manage regional stakeholders
