Finance Manager - Edtech Industry

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop and oversee financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations and alignment with the companys growth and expansion strategies.

Formulate financial forecasts and budgets. Produce monthly financial reports encompassing profit and loss statements comparative analysis of actual versus budgeted figures and departmental cash flow statements.

Assess and analyze financial performance relative to the companys objectives.

Construct financial models for potential projects assess their feasibility and offer risk assessments to aid executive decisionmaking.

Review and manage all contracts and policies to ensure they align with the companys overarching direction and strategic vision.

Establish pricing frameworks sales package payment terms and distribution policies to mitigate risks and maximize profitability.

Validate all quotations (production operations marketing events etc.) and control costs within approved budget limits.

Ensure precise and timely financial reporting budgeting profit and loss planning and management reporting to the Board of Directors and key stakeholders.

Collaborate with the Chief Accountant to align departmental objectives and deploy strategic approaches to achieve them.

Participate in meetings with project/contract clients as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Thorough understanding of corporate finance regulations and practical risk management.

Proficiency in data analysis forecasting synthesis and reporting techniques.

Knowledge of advanced accounting principles and legal matters.

Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking capabilities.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with leadership and crossfunctional teams.

Openness to learning and adapting to new knowledge/technology.

Experience in project financial management and analysis.

Preference for candidates with finance management experience in Technology/Educational Software/Education sectors or equivalent.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Auditing or related fields.

ACCA/CPA/CFA certification is advantageous.

Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
