Farmer Extensionist ECSAP Project

Support the implementation of project activities:

• Assist in implementation of CSA capacity building strategy.
  
• Assist with technical training events.
  
• Assist with extension refresher events.
  
• Assist with establishment of demonstration trials and nurseries.
  
• Assist with testing of digital extension platform.
  
• Assist with testing of training and extension materials.
  

Lead the following activities:

• Followup regarding field activities.
  
• Followup activities and support consultation with rural advisors (extension agents and model farmers GRASS team to establish demonstration trials and nurseries.
  
• Followup activities with the Mensiau training centre staff and GRASS team to operationalize the strategy to revitalize the training centre.
  
• Field liaison between ECSAP Bogor team and GRASS team and relevant stakeholders; and clear communications between Bogor and the field.
  

Other Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate potential risks within your work area.
  
• Take reasonable care of own occupational health and safety and that of others as obliged by CIFORICRAF s Occupational Health and Safety Policy and cooperate with CIFORICRAF in complying with requirements under any statutory health and safety provisions of relevant Country laws.
  
• Participate in projects as may be required.
