Adelphi is seeking a Family Practice certified Advanced Practice Nurse to provide medical services at a healthcare facility in Athens County Ohio. The ideal candidate will have experience in serving patients with mental illnesses.

Requirements:
Ohio license as Registered Nurse
Completion of advanced level practice nurse program for Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice
Certification by Ohio Board of Nursing for advanced practice
Certificate of Authority
Certificate to Prescribe

Responsibilities:
Provide medical care to patients at the healthcare facility under the approval of the Chief Clinical Officer.
Conduct physical examinations diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans for patients.
Prescribe medications and administer treatments for acute and chronic conditions.
Monitor patients medical progress and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Perform physical examinations on both patients and employees as required.
Perform minor surgical procedures and refer patients for surgical consultations when necessary.
Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Stay current with developments in primary care and family medicine through continuous education.
Serve as a medical consultant to psychiatrists nurses and other professionals at the facility.
Collaborate with medical specialists to determine appropriate care or treatments for patients.
Facilitate the admission discharge and readmission of patients referred for inpatient treatment at other facilities.
Maintain accurate documentation of medical services rendered including completion of medical evaluation forms admission and discharge records interpretation of laboratory reports and clinical diagnostic findings.
Provide instructions and medical records to nursing staff and other personnel as needed.
Any other duties as assigned.
