Executive Associate Counsellor - Pune - Air Pollution

• Effectively engage local businesses government departments institutions local leaders & communities local market/trade associations etc. to advance cleaner air better life agenda and facilitate collective action and ownership.
• Come up with innovative approaches that bring top decisionmakers in businesses and cities to work together for action on ground. Work with local leaders and changemakers to foster partnerships for action on ground while building capacity of diverse stakeholders e.g. communities MSMEs etc. for air quality improvement in the city.
• Design plans to address specific sources of air pollution working in tandem with city administrators and public agencies while integrating feedback from all stakeholders. Further liaise with concerned government departments and local leaders for local action.
• Undertake rapid assessments of technological socioeconomic policy and financial aspects for deploying new solutions via interviews field visits surveys digital data collection & other innovative means.
• Train and support team of field volunteers while building their capacity educate fellow citizens via dedicated campaigns and collect digital data on different aspects of air pollution etc.
• Take lead in organizing bilateral meetings and stakeholder workshops in city for need of participatory planning with communities businesses and concerned city and state government departments for improving local air quality.
• Coordinate citylevel activities with supervision of local partners and vendors to be able to meet the overall project delivery plan. Lead overall management and supervision of citylevel activities while creating proper workflow for partners field volunteers consultants vendors etc.
• Undertake policy analysis and proactively document learnings policy needs social impacts stakeholder inputs etc. emerging from your work. Subsequently work with your team to package these for diverse needs of project reporting policy advocacy citizen action campaigns business cases etc.

• Prior experience with governments environmental institutions or NGOs in environment domain preferable.
• Scientific bent of mind with knack for numbers and exceptional ability to identify & visualise patterns.
• Candidates with demonstrated application of machine learning python remote sensing IoT solutions etc. will be preferred.
• Understanding basic descriptive statistics and working proficiency in remote sensing analysis using ERDAS and ArcGIS is must of this job.
• Innovative and entrepreneurial cando attitude high degree of adaptability and coordination skills applies feedback constructively.
• Excellent communication skills (preferably English Hindi and Marathi) to be able to articulate complex ideas or concepts in a simple language.
