Environmental Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, manage, and draw conclusions from remedial investigation projects involving contaminated media
  
• Develop feasibility studies, remedial alternative evaluations, remediation cost estimates, and remedial action plans
  
• Design/oversee the implementation of projects using in-situ and ex-situ remedial technologies
  
• Perform remediation system operation/maintenance services
  
• Manage tasks/projects (track project budget, project schedule, etc.)
  
• Assist with business development, including completion/presentation of proposals
  
• Requires some travel
  

Requirements:

• BS degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering with an environmental focus
  
• Advanced degree preferred
  
• 5+ years of work experience
  
• P.E. license
  
• Experience with environmental remediation system design including:
  

• In-situ mediation (ISCO, SVE, thermal, ISS)
  
• Excavation/disposal
  
• Remediation system installation, operation, maintenance and system optimization
  

• Environmental compliance experience (SPC and air permitting)
  
• Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training/refreshers
  
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, fate and transport modeling, and GIS
