Overview:
The Senior Elixir Developer plays a critical role in our organization contributing to the development and maintenance of Elixir applications. They will be tasked with ensuring the high performance and responsiveness of our applications while collaborating with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features. Additionally they will be responsible for maintaining code integrity and organization while implementing best practices and contributing to continual improvements of the development process.
Qualifications:
4 years of experience in professional software development with a strong focus on functional programming.
Deep expertise in Elixir including OTP concepts pattern matching and concurrency models.
Experience with Phoenix framework and web development best practices. Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Passion for mentoring and helping others grow.
Bonus Points:
Experience with other functional programming languages like Clojure Haskell or Erlang.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or GCP. Contribution to opensource projects.
