Electrical Engineer

Functional Competencies

• Overall years of experience shall be minimum 8-10 years; minimum 4 years of experience in large scale commercial buildings &infrastructure projects.Airport experience will have gottenforemost preference.
• Experience in Electrical engineering design and/or OEMof large-scale projects.
• Should have experience of Design review & coordination activities of Substation having 66 KV/11 KV AIS system, 132 KV/11 KV GIS or 110 KV/11 KV GIS systems, 11 KV DG sets, power distribution of Airports at 11 KV, Chilled water plants etc.
• Should have experience in Infrastructure and large-scale commercial building Electrical systems.
• Should have experience and well understood about essential and non-essential power mode of functionality.
• Should have experience of design of HT/LT and its coordination and review for various multi-dimensional buildings and infrastructure operations. The scope includes but not limited to:

i) Electrical power scheme for Aviation sector, Roads, Substation, High Rise Building etc

ii) Master power SLD

iii) Review Design Basis report

iv) Equipment & material technical submittals

v) Electrical specifications & datasheets

• Experience in distribution of Essential and Non-Essential Power and equipment layout,coordination of design & selection of electrical equipment
• Review of the electrical submittals Essential and Non-Essential distribution power SLD, power and lighting layout and SLD, equipment layout, design calculations
• Coordinating with internal as well as external stakeholders for validating design inline to the aviation standards and norms. Also, to coordinate with other Discipline such as Mechanical, PHE, FF, IT, communication, Material Handling System (MHS) etc
• Responsible for implementing technology Driven initiates within the organization which will improve overall efficiency of electrical system. Also, to look after standardization of electrical & lighting system equipment, material & include in standard technical specifications
• Experience in monitoring& checking site electrical work to ensure progress as per project schedule.
• Innovative& critical thinking & practice featuring sustainability & technology advancements in modern aviation is preferred
• Capable of managing the Project under the guidance of lead engineering
• Experience in handling the external / Internal stakeholders
• Adaptation to Adani's growing Airport's business portfolio & its dynamics
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder relationship management skills
• Conversant with applicable local and international statutory norms, regulations, etc.

Like IATA, ICAO & DGCA Regulations

• Should be familiar with application of design software's like AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Office etc.

Key Accountabilities

Systems & Processes

Support Lead Engineer

• To implement processes in alignment to Engineering organization's strategic goals
• To implement process measurement systems that align with organizational goals
• To educate and organize managers so that they will manage processes effectively

Governance & Assurance

• Support the LeadEngineer to govern & ensure Adani Promoters' requirements, Regulator's requirements, Concession Agreement / OMDA Agreement requirements, Finishes Quality requirements etc.

Design Standardization

• To support LeadEngineer to benchmark best industry practices and standardize design elements across Adani Airports to strengthen brand identity

Operations

• Lead the asset Engineering managers across Adani Airports in generating design delivery strategies, and system improvements. Assess and mitigate strengths and weaknesses of teams within the design organization
• Create systems and implement review mechanisms for progressive inputs on Engineering
• Governing the implementation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) including defining TATs (Turn Around Time) for all activities to ensure consistency, seamless integration, timely deliveries, and standardization of activities
• Develop close interaction with internal stakeholders to enable interdepartmental goals, objectives, and timely deliverables
• Develop Look-ahead scenarios to ensure timely course corrections critical for operation of Engineering organization
• Responsible to ensure timely and accurate deliveries by the Engineering organization, taking cognizance of other internal customer and stakeholder requirements
• Conduct regular mission-meetings to ensure work is in progress as scheduled, ascertain future slippages and initiate corrective actions in advance and monitor the same for implementation
• Track project progress in Engineering Review meetings by Asset design managers periodically
