Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Economics and Business Management Teacher to join our esteemed faculty at School/Institution Name. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual and professional development of our Year 11 and 12 students instilling in them not only a mastery of economic principles and business practices but also a passion for lifelong learning and critical inquiry.

Your primary objective will be to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students are challenged to think critically analyze complex economic phenomena and apply theoretical concepts to realworld scenarios. Through innovative instructional methods and interactive classroom activities you will inspire curiosity and foster a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of economic systems and business dynamics.

Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development: Design and develop engaging and comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the curriculum standards for Year 11 and 12 Economics and Business Management courses.
2. Classroom Instruction: Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons that foster critical thinking analytical skills and realworld application of economic and business concepts.
3. Student Assessment: Implement various assessment strategies to evaluate student progress including assignments exams projects and presentations providing timely and constructive feedback to support student learning.
4. Individualized Support: Provide guidance and support to students through oneonone interactions tutoring sessions and academic advising to address individual learning needs and challenges.
5. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning promoting mutual respect collaboration and active participation among students.
6. Professional Development: Stay abreast of current trends research and best practices in economics and business management education continuously enhancing teaching methodologies and subject matter expertise.
7. Parent Communication: Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians to discuss student progress address concerns and collaborate on strategies to support student success.
8. Extracurricular Involvement: Actively participate in school activities clubs and events related to economics and business management offering students additional opportunities for enrichment and skill development.
9. Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with colleagues within the Economics and Business Department and across other disciplines to integrate interdisciplinary perspectives and enhance the overall educational experience.
10. Professional Ethics: Uphold high standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior fostering a culture of integrity honesty and academic rigor within the school community.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Economics Business Administration or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or licensure appropriate for the region.
• Proven experience teaching Economics and Business Management at the high school level with a track record of student achievement and engagement.
• Strong understanding of curriculum standards instructional strategies and assessment techniques in economics and business education.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to effectively engage students parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.
• Passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence critical thinking and lifelong learning.

• Knowledge and experience with student management information systems (iSAMS SIMS etc.). Level 1 Google Educator (Desirable)
