The Dissertation Writing Guide and Coach will be responsible for guiding and coaching students through the dissertation writing process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the dissertation writing process, as well as experience in coaching students to produce high-quality dissertation content. They should be comfortable working with students to understand their needs, providing feedback and guidance, and helping them navigate the challenges of the dissertation writing process.
Responsibilities:
- Guide and coach students through the dissertation writing process
- Provide feedback and guidance on all aspects of the dissertation writing process, including research, writing, and editing
- Help students develop a research question and a clear research plan
- Provide support and feedback on the development of the dissertation proposal
- Help students develop a clear, coherent argument and structure for their dissertation
- Provide feedback and guidance on the writing style and tone of the dissertation
- Help students navigate the challenges of the dissertation writing process, including time management, motivation, and self-discipline
- Ensure all work meets academic writing conventions and standards

Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Journalism)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in the dissertation writing process
- Experience coaching students through the dissertation writing process
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with students to understand their needs and deliver high-quality work
- Familiarity with academic citation styles
