We are seeking a clinical and counselling psychologist to join our private practice in Rondebosch Western Cape.
As a multidisciplinary practice we work with individuals across the lifespan who have neurodevelopmental and mental health needs.
The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in neurodevelopmental needs particularly in understanding the intersection between mental health and neurodevelopmental challenges and how these impact peoples lives. The role requires a commitment to working within the broader family system when necessary and a dedication to continuous learning in this area. Clinicians will collaborate closely within our teams while independently managing a key caseload.
Valid South African qualifications and registration as a Psychologist including HPCSA and BHF registration along with suitable individual insurance.
Experience in neurodevelopmental or neuropsychiatric work is preferred with the ability to offer group interventions considered a significant advantage.
Strong organisational skills an ethical approach to work and professional relationships excellent communication skills and a warm professional demeanor in developing client and other relationships.
Proficiency in English and Afrikaans is ideal with isiXhosa being an advantage.
