We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to provide leadership and oversight to our nursing department. The Director of Nursing will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care and maintaining regulatory compliance. This position offers the opportunity to lead and mentor a team of dedicated nursing professionals in a fastpaced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department including staffing budgeting and quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
Oversee nursing staff recruitment retention and performance management processes.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations accreditation standards and best practices in nursing care.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among nursing staff.
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and promote interdisciplinary collaboration.
Monitor and evaluate nursing department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Participate in organizational leadership meetings and committees to contribute to strategic planning and decisionmaking processes.
Qualifications:
Current North Carolina or Compact State RN License.
Bachelor s degree in Nursing is required.
Minimum of 5 of progressive leadership experience in nursing management or administration.
Strong clinical background with expertise in acute care or similar healthcare settings.
Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources and drive performance improvement initiatives.
