Your mission:

As a DevSecOps Engineer you will be at the forefront of breaking our existing monolith into microservices enhancing scalability establishing robust CI/CD pipelines and embedding security best practices into every phase of our software development lifecycle. Youll collaborate closely with the development team to architect and maintain secure efficient infrastructures.

Yout daily tasks at Fiction Express:

• Design manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes.
• Develop implement and monitor security measures for the protection of systems networks and information.
• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS.
• Integrate security tools and processes into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Conduct and automate system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments.
• Recommend and implement security improvements by assessing current situation evaluating trends and anticipating requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for security systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support secure software development.
• Respond to and where necessary lead security incidents and provide thorough postevent analyses.
• Stay current on security industry trends tools and best practices.

What do we expect from you:

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2 EKS RDS S3 etc.).
• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless technologies.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI etc.).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform CloudFormation).
• Experience in managing security in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (OWASP CIS etc.) and compliance standards (ISO GDPR).
• Strong understanding of network security and encryption protocols.
• Experience in scripting languages (Python Bash).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.

Nice to have

• At least a B2 English level.
• Certifications in AWS Kubernetes or security (AWS Certified Security CKA CISSP).
• Familiarity with policy as code (e.g. OPA Gatekeeper).

Meet the People & Culture Team: 3045 minutes of conversation where you can learn more about Fiction Express your role and what you can expect from your experience here. Well have the opportunity to learn more about your background and assess how well it aligns with our values and culture.

Meet Your Manager: 4560 minutes interview with the CTO. You can discuss your role and the manager will evaluate your skills.

Technical Test (offline): We will send you a case related to your role. This is focused on the hard skills and the knowledge needed to perform in the role.

Review of the Technical Test (online): Together we will review your code and well ask you technical questions related to the project and your development.

Meet our team: 30 minutes of conversation with someone from our team. You will have the opportunity to meet other people from Fiction. We will be able to learn more about how you align with our culture and values.
