Role: DevOps Engineer

Duration: Long Term Contract (W2 Contract)

The DevOps Engineer will focus on integrating and automating data collection from various development tools including Jenkins JIRA and Bitbucket. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust solutions to aggregate and manage developer activity data effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Integration: Design and implement systems to collect and integrate data from Jenkins JIRA and Bitbucket.
2. Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate data collection and processing tasks.
3. Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of data collection systems identify bottlenecks and optimize workflows for maximum efficiency.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with the development operations and QA teams to ensure that data insights are aligned with company goals and objectives.
5. Data Security and Compliance: Ensure that all data handling procedures comply with company policies and legal standards.
6. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for systems and processes related to developer activity data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
2. Minimum of 6 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
3. Strong experience with Jenkins JIRA and Bitbucket.
4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell
5. Familiarity with APIs and web services.
6. Experience with SQL and databases.
7. Strong understanding of data integration data quality and data architecture principles.
8. Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
