- Job Description: The Design Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of facades and building envelope systems for various projects. This includes curtainwall systems impact windows railings skylights metal panels and entrances.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Design and engineer facade systems that meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Produce detailed drawings specifications and calculations for fabrication and installation.
- Conduct performance and structural analysis of facade systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components for projects.
- Provide technical support during the fabrication installation and testing phases of projects.
- Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and other design software.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations related to facades and building envelope systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 13 years of experience in facade design and engineering.
- Experience working with curtainwall systems impact windows and other facade components.
- Previous experience in the construction or architectural industry.
- Salary & Benefits:
- Annual salary of up to $116000.
