This position will be responsible for the day-to-day application development, analysis and support for the Ellucian Banner application using Oracle databases running on a Linux Redhat platform.
- This position requires hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
- Proven working experience as a Database Administrator.
- Experience providing support for Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Linux RedHat, Ellucian Banner, and a variety of ancillary systems that support Banner.
- Excellent experience with design and development of database triggers, tables, schemas, objects, stored procedures and SQL scripting.
- Ability to plan and manage the integration and implementation of new technology, solving highly technical and complex problems while guiding and providing the direction for projects through completion.
- Knowledge of new or existing technologies to develop solutions.
- Skills in written and oral communications.
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities, to promote teamwork and work independently.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others.
