The Data Visualization Specialist is responsible for designing developing and deploying innovative data visualization solutions that effectively communicate complex data to different target audiences. This role combines art and science requiring both creative design skills and technical expertise to create compelling graphics dashboards and interactive visualizations.

• Collaborate with data teams to understand their data needs and determine visualization requirements.
• Design and implement innovative and informative visualizations based on understanding of data sets and user needs.
• Utilize visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar to create dashboards reports and dynamic visual interfaces.
• Ensure visualizations effectively convey clear direct and actionable insights to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Maintain and refine the performance of visualization tools and platforms to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Conduct user training and support for deployed visualization tools.
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in data visualization to keep our visualizations innovative and fresh.
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure accuracy and accessibility of data used in visualizations.
• Provide expertise in visual storytelling to enhance presentation and communication of data insights.
• Document and communicate standards guidelines and best practices for data visualization.

• Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Data Science Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience in data visualization or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work with data visualization tools.
• Proficiency with visualization software such as Tableau Power BI D3.js or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail and an eye for aesthetic design.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of SQL and databases is preferred.
• Familiarity with data analysis workflows and data manipulation.
• Ability to explain complex concepts to nontechnical audiences.
