Data Strategy Consultant - PARTTIME

Job Description:

As a Data Governance Consultant at PriceSenz you will play a pivotal role in helping our clients optimize their data management and analytics tools ensuring they align with industry best practices. You will collaborate closely with clients to evaluate their existing data landscape identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to enhance data quality governance and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in assessments for the SAWS Data Consulting project. Items could include one or more of the Readiness assessment items relating to the assessment of data sources design and tools:
   1. Evaluate existing SAWS data resources: Design of SAWS data and analytics staff process and tools align with best practices to produce key business insights and analytics.
   2. Evaluate Tools: Evaluate existing data management and analytics tools Identify any redundancy lack of utilization or gaps in capabilities and make recommendations regarding opportunities found.
   3. Support other project areas of priority which are Tech heavy required for the success of the project

2. Evaluate Data Management and Analytics Tools: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the clients existing data management and analytics tools to identify redundancy underutilization and capability gaps.

3. Recommendation Development: Provide strategic recommendations to clients regarding opportunities for improvement in their data management and analytics tools. Address any identified gaps by suggesting appropriate solutions.

4. Data Quality and Governance Assessment: Conduct a thorough assessment of data controls quality measures and governance practices to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.

5. Best Practices Alignment: Evaluate the design of the clients data and analytics staff processes and tools to determine alignment with industry best practices for producing key business insights and analytics.

6. Identify Areas of Opportunity: Identify specific areas where opportunities exist for enhancing data management and analytics practices including process enhancements staff training or technology upgrades.

7. Client Collaboration: Work closely with client teams to implement recommended changes and improvements providing guidance and support throughout the process.

8. Documentation: Create detailed reports and documentation summarizing assessment findings recommendations and action plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field such as Data Science Information Management or Business Administration.
• Indepth knowledge of data governance principles data quality and analytics best practices.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g. GDPR CCPA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problemsolving and analytical abilities.
• Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
