Position Overview:
As an In-House Corporate Lawyer at Don Construction Products, you will play a pivotal role in offering legal guidance, managing contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance in the. This position requires a seasoned legal professional with a strong understanding of corporate law and the ability to navigate complex legal issues in the local and regional business landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Counsel:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a variety of legal matters.
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure the company's compliance with legal requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for all local law offices, providing necessary support or coordination for any required tasks with these offices.

Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
- Ensure that contracts align with business objectives and legal standards.

Corporate Governance:
- Oversee and ensure compliance with corporate governance principles applicable in countries of operation.
- Provide counsel on the legal implications of business decisions and strategies.

Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on changes in local laws and regulations impacting the company.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance in all countries of operation.

Dispute Resolution:
- Manage legal disputes, litigation, and negotiations within the Jordanian legal framework.
- Collaborate with external counsel when necessary.

Training and Awareness:
- Provide legal training to employees in Jordan to enhance awareness of legal issues.
- Foster a culture of legal compliance within the local organization.

Insurance:
- Review all insurance policies across the group.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage for all necessary risks.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Proven experience in corporate law, preferably in Jordan.
- Strong knowledge of Jordanian corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
