- Participate in the planning and preparation of projects involving control systems.
- Design and implementation of new control systems and user interfaces.
- Designing, developing, coding, testing and debugging system software under Linux OS platform environment.
- Work closely with machine and beamlines teams on defining the requirements and the specification of new control systems.
- Report on progress and documentation on work undertaken in all areas on a periodic basis.
- Participate in the commissioning and upgrading of new control systems.
- Provide support for machine operation and for the running control systems, in responding to operational faults and requests for development and/or enhancements.
