About the Role
Creador Foundation is currently seeking a talented and creative Financial Content Creator to collaborate closely with the
Programme Manager and other team members in developing and producing engaging financial education content. The
Content Creator will be responsible for producing content which will be published in various formats including videos
podcasts infographics social media posts. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts excellent
communication skills and the ability to simplify complex information into easily digestible content. The ideal candidate will
be passionate about improving financial literacy rates and have experience in content creation preferably within the finance
or education sectors. It is a Fulltime opportunity.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package alongside other benefits. The selected candidate
will be based out of the Foundation s office in Mumbai India.

Job scope
The Content Creator will work with the Programme Manager and other team members in creating simple and easy to
understand financial education content targeted towards low and middle income households. The content creator will
Brainstorm with the Programme Manager and other team members to come up with content ideas
Analyze complex financial information and distill it into clear concise and easytounderstand content for the
target audience.
Conduct independent primary and secondary research to gather accurate information/data on topics related to
finance topics. This includes being proactive in conducting surveys/interviews analyzing keyword/social media
trends interacting with subject matter experts & relevant institutions to collect information for creating content.
Optimize content for various platforms and formats by incorporating storytelling and visual elements to enhance
the impact and engagement of the content by taking into consideration user experience optimisation. This can
include diversifying the formats of content created (stepbystep guides activities quizzes video scripts etc.) and
incorporating interactive and engaging elements within the content (e.g. humour).
Collaborate with designers videographers and other content creators to enhance the visual and interactive
elements of the content.
Implement best practices for search engine optimization (SEO) metadata and keyword optimization to improve
content visibility.
Review and edit content for accuracy clarity grammar and adherence to brand guidelines.
Ensure all content is engaging visually appealing and aligned with the programs tone and style.
Incorporate feedback from multiple review sessions with different parties and from focus group testings with
communities to refine and improve on the content designed.
Stay updated with the latest industry developments and emerging trends in financial education to incorporate
into content creation




Requirements

Qualifications and Skills
The minimum qualifications are:
3 years experience in creating engaging and preferably in the finance education or related sectors.
Bachelors/Masters degree in finance journalism communications marketing or a related field.
Strong knowledge of financial concepts including budgeting saving investing debt management and financial
planning.
Excellent writing proofreading and editing skills in English with similar skills in Hindi with the ability to simplify
complex information for diverse audiences.
Creative mindset and ability to think innovatively to engage and educate the target audience.

Candidate s Attributes
Experience in instructional design e.g. background in conducting needs assessment designing curriculum as well
as instructional materials
Understanding of social media platforms and trends and experience in creating content for social media
channels.
Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information from reliable sources.
Good understanding of social issues in India especially concerning the low income group
Ability to set priorities and handle multiple competing time and resource demands

Minimum qualifications: At least three years of relevant work experience in video production Creative individual with experience in visual storytelling Experience of working in the non-profit/ development sector is an added advantage Adept at video editing, animation, static and motion graphics, and sound design Technical acumen to set up, operate, fix video / audio / lighting equipment Proficiency in video editing soft wares: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro / Windows Movie Maker, Vyond, etc. with demonstrated skills in Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop. A sound understanding of the Adobe Suite will be preferred Proficiency in English and Hindi or any other regional Indian language Desired Qualifications: A relevant graduate or postgraduate degree (preferred) in communications, media, journalism, or related field Ability to visually convey theoretical and concept-heavy topics to diverse audiences in an engaging and effective manner Updated knowledge in recent social media trends such as Instagram reels / YouTube / TikTok etc. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within timelines Team player with an ability to collaborate across teams
