The ideal candidate must have 35 years of relevant experience in both state and federal court proceedings. Bankruptcy experience is an asset.
Types of work may include research drafting and general assistance with managing files to completion.

Responsibilities:
The attorney will be engaged in a diverse range of legal activities including but not limited to:
- Drafting demand letters
- Drafting opinion letters
- Drafting construction demands
- Drafting court documents including pleadings discovery and motions
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Performing legal research
- Participating in hearings
- Communicating with opposing parties
- Participating in settlement negotiations
- Engaging with prospective clients

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Requirements:
Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in the state of Florida.
Minimum of 35 years in practice
Minimum3 5 years of construction and litigation. The ideal candidate must have 35 years of relevant experience in both state and federal court proceedings. Bankruptcy experience is an asset.
Strong research and writing skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines and be well organized
Selfstarter and able to work independently
Experience in Construction and Litigation (35 years preferred)
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Know how to efile in state court and federal court (as a backup to the paralegal)
Familiarity with LEDES billing
Be available during business hours
Be available in the evening when necessary
Available for weekly virtual meetings and occasional inperson meetings in South Florida
Licensed in the state of Florida
