Today, over 18,000 patients residents and visitors alike see our health care teams for both outpatient and inpatient services.SUMMARY: Provides outpatient infusion administration as needed. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of two years in oncology nursing; inpatient and outpatient experience preferred. Must possess a valid Colorado RN license or a valid multistate RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact American Heart Association BLS required on hire. AHA ACLS required within 6 months of hire. Required ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification. ONCC preferred. DUTIES:Is flexible in scheduling outpatient infusion patients. Provides direct patient care, including education, to patients. Administers all medications, including chemotherapeutic agents, in a safe and proper manner. Completes necessary documentation for medication administration, including patient charts and patient charges for services rendered. Communicates effectively with providers, patients, families, and EPH staff. Works in conjunction with the Outpatient Care Coordinator and delegates appropriately clinical tasks. Demonstrates ability to perform appropriately in emergency situations. Partner with Director for monitoring and evaluation of quality metrics. Partner with fellow infusion nurses and PCS Director in developing standards, policies, procedures, in-servicing, and maintaining quality of nursing care. Assists in other clinical departments as helping hands. Performs in accordance with all local, state, federal, and regulatory agency requirements All other duties as assigned IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!!VERIFICATION OF CREDENTIALS CHECKLIST Before agency personnel may provide care to patients or perform any responsibility requiring a license, a HR representative will confirm receipt of the following credentials/documents from candidates travel agency: Current CO license or multistate license and source verifiedo If permanent license, verify online & print a copy of the page.o If temporary license, have copy of authorization letter from Colorado Board of Nursing; verify by phone, note on copy and place in their file. Copies of certifications required for the position that are listed in the Job Description.o Such as: BLS and ACLS must be AHA, and PALS. Immunization records including documentation of immunity to Rubella, Rubeola, Mumps, Varicella-Zoste, Hep B and Tetanus. TB test within the last year. Acceptable tests include QuantiFERON or Tspot or True Two step PPD (which means skins test and read must be done 2 times not just once. If they do not have the Two step PPD already it will take a few weeks to get it, so the other options are suggested.) Influenza shot is required by the State of Colorado no exceptions during influenza season. Influenza season is Sept 1st (depending on availability of flu vaccines) through to March 31st of the following year, or as otherwise defined by the Department of Epidemiology and Flu Surveillance Team. Confirmation of having received the COVID Vaccine (copy of vaccine card). Copy of negative 10 panel drug screen results (within the last 30 days). Resume with work experience. Documented references. Proof of all required Regulatory (OSHA) Training. Assessment of skills/competencies. Results of criminal background check including OIG (within the last 30 days). CAPS check through the State of Colorado (required for all patient care positions).I will also need a W-9 for your company.

Shift: Days, 8am-5pm, some weekend work may be required
