Civil Engineer with Grading Experience

Overview

Job Summary:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings client consultations onsite inspections/visits and other activities.
• Graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience in creating and assessing stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) A plus.
• Experience in civil grading and drainage hydraulics and hydrology.
• Experience in site layout grading drainage erosion and sediment management is beneficial.
• Understanding of hydrology and hydraulic calculations
• Must be able to operate under pressure in a fastpaced scheduledriven area.
• Must have great written and vocal communication abilities.
• Must possess exceptional abilities in the following areas: Documentation Organization Communication and Problem Solving
• Must be capable of multitasking and managing workload with minimal supervision.
• Delegate jobs to designers on an asneeded basis.
• Performs other related responsibilities.
• Must have knowledge with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Mathcad.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in CAD software.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and associated software.
• Able to operate under pressure in a fastpaced setting.
• Ability to operate both alone and in a collaborative context
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required.
