Were all about tackling the worlds biggest environmental problems through earlystage funding and mentoring for highly scalable green tech startups. With our team of 1150 dedicated individuals we measure and forecast the positive environmental impact of a startup as our central metric of success. Currently were searching for a Chief Finance Officer (m/f/x) whos ready to help us continue making a difference. Tasks

• Develop and execute the financial strategy of Planet A aligning with our mission to support sustainable and impactful investments.
• Lead fundraising initiatives for the upcoming fund and future investment vehicles.
• Oversee all financial functions including accounting budgeting forecasting and reporting. Ensure timely and accurate financial information is available to support decisionmaking.
• Work closely with the investment team to assess the financial viability and risks of potential investments.
• Provide strategic financial insights to optimize our investment portfolio for both financial returns and environmental impact.
• Identify and manage financial risks ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Manage relationships with investors partners and financial institutions. Communicate financial performance and strategic direction effectively.
• Lead mentor and develop our small but mighty finance team fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a senior financial leadership role preferably with a background in venture capital/ private equity and fund management within Germany.
• Indepth knowledge of the German financial regulatory environment and a solid understanding of global investment strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in both German and English.
• Exceptional analytical strategic and decisionmaking skills.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage highperforming teams.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and not shy away from handson work when needed.
