Job Summary
Author and manage the preparation of innovative, timely, professional solutions for the customer s supply chain challenges. Develop value-added approach to supply chain challenges employing analysis, innovation and experience by performing network design analysis, transportation and optimization analysis, shipment rating and rate analysis, warehouse layout and design and building and running simulation analysis. Identify and manage the resources required to lower cost, improve service, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Essential Functions
1. Author winning responses to Requests for Proposal for projects delivering value add, comprehensive, and competitive solutions. Support Business Development Managers and Directors in authoring proposals for large, complex 3PL projects.
2. Fully and accurately define supply chain requirements and the solution approach while ensuring the gathering of accurate information and performing detailed solution design.
3. Develop value-added approach to supply chain challenges employing analysis, innovation and experience within the target market. Perform modeling or direct a modeling team for more complex solution design.
4. Deliver qualitative and quantifiable supply chain value and utilize written communication skills to describe the solution.
5. Present Solutions to customers
6. Manage other resources in consulting engagements
7. Identify and implement improvements to existing operations.
8. Maintenance solution tools database, including cost model updates, manpower cost, facility cost & calculation, etc.
9. Perform various analysis utilizing MS Access and Excel. Understand the use of optimization/decision support tools to perform global supply chain studies, routing optimization and transportation rate analysis.
10. Interface as required with the client and various internal cross functional groups.
11. Leverage, share and build Menlo s knowledge of assigned IG
12. Lead, guide solution Engineer and Sr. solution Engineer to prepare logistics solution and proposal. Review & check the costing & proposal
13. Resource planning and time management
14. Setup expectation for team members, evaluate performance and conduct the annual appraisal
15. Promoting, instilling, and living the company corporate values of Leadership, Integrity, Commitment, and Excellence

Qualification Requirements
Knowledge
Bachelors degree or equivalent. MS or MBA Preferred.

Experience
At least 5 years of supply chain warehousing solutions experience. Prefer both international and domestic. Experience with transportation will be preferred. Inventory management including DRP and MRP. Warehouse site selection, material handling experience, facility design and operations experience.
