Requirements

Youre the perfect fit if you:


1. Have a degree in any field of agriculture and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.

2. Have a proven track record of success in business development and sales ideally in agriculture.

3. Possess a deep understanding of the Nigerian agricultural market and its dynamics.

4. Exude excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.

5. Thrive in project management and team leadership roles.

6. Are passionate about agriculture and driven to make a positive impact.

7. Boast a strong network within the Nigerian agricultural community.

8. Embrace remote work and independent initiative with minimal supervision.

9. Think strategically solve problems creatively and analyse data like a pro.

The requirements listed below are representative of the Knowledge, Skill and/or ability required to perform this job satisfactorily: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Agriculture, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or FMCG industries. Strong knowledge of agriculture and farm products, particularly the products offered by the farm. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Proven negotiation and sales presentation skills. Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events as needed. Passion for sustainable agriculture and promoting local food systems.
