Our client is a leading provider of comprehensive infrastructure solutions for telecom operators. With a focus on managing both active and passive elements including setting up of such infrastructure they aim to deliver cuttingedge services to enhance the efficiency and reliability of telecom networks. As they continue to expand our footprint in the industry they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and foster strategic partnerships.
Role Summary
The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining relationships with telecom operators and driving revenue growth in the active and passive infrastructure sector. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the telecommunications industry a deep understanding of active and passive infrastructure components and the ability to formulate and execute strategic plans.
Responsibilities
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends opportunities and potential competitors in the telecom infrastructure sector.
Analyse industry dynamics and regulatory changes to stay informed about market developments.
Business Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Formulate and execute plans to expand the companys presence in active and passive telecom infrastructure services.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers at telecom operators.
Collaborate with clients to understand their infrastructure needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
Lead the sales process from prospecting to closure identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Develop and negotiate contracts pricing and service level agreements to meet revenue targets.
Prepare and timely submit the RFPs & RFQs.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams including technical operations and finance to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Provide feedback to product development teams based on market trends and client needs.
Industry Networking:
Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Proven track record in business development within the telecommunications industry.
Indepth knowledge of active and passive telecom infrastructure components.
Strong understanding of market trends competitive landscapes and regulatory environments.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Good understanding of preparing RFP & RFQ.
Excellent in MS office skills Excel Power point Word
Have a 7 years plus experience with a large part within Kenya.
Full Time
