Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of highintegrity machine tools and other engineering products and spares designed to serve the project operation and maintenance needs of a range of industries. Due to Expansion they are currently in need of a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER.
Job Location: Abuja and Lagos. (2 vacancies)
Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the organizations vision mission and objectives.
- Research: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends opportunities and potential challenges.
- Partnership Building: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with government agencies privatesector firms nonprofits and relevant stakeholders to promote collaboration and regional development.
- Proposal Development: Lead the creation of persuasive business proposals grant applications and funding requests to secure resources for strategic initiatives.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning execution and monitoring of business development projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships with key government entities industry associations and community leaders to enhance Government Establishments Names influence and reputation.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of business development professionals providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Resource Mobilization: Identify diverse funding sources grants and investment opportunities to support the organizations growth and sustainability.
- Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare regular reports and conduct evaluations to measure the effectiveness of business development strategies and initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure all business development activities adhere to applicable laws regulations and organizational policies.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics or a related field (Masters degree
- preferred).
- 5 proven track record as a Business Development Manager in a Government Establishment
- Indepth knowledge of the industry s standards and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Familiarity with government processes and regulations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in business development tools and software.
- An analytical mind able to see the complexities of procedures and regulations.
