Overview:

The role of a Business Development Head in a digital agency is crucial to the organizations growth and success. This individual is responsible for driving business growth developing and implementing sales strategies and leading a team to achieve revenue targets. The Business Development Head plays a pivotal role in building and nurturing client relationships identifying new business opportunities and ensuring the agencys offerings align with market needs and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the agencys client base.
  • Lead and mentor a team of business development managers and executives providing guidance and support to maximize their potential.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop innovative ways to reach potential clients.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns and promotional materials to attract new clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the development of proposals pitches and presentations for potential clients.
  • Manage the negotiation and closure of deals in line with the agencys objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing metrics to optimize performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Represent the agency at industry events conferences and networking opportunities to enhance its presence and reputation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior business development role within a digital agency or similar industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Thorough understanding of digital marketing SEO and online advertising strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical abilities to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and close deals effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business growth and foster a culture of innovation within the team.
