As part of their growth plans they are seeking to hire dedicated and experienced Bursar to be part of their team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of finance accounting tax matters which includes improving financial policies procedures planning and allocation of financial resource financial reporting internal controls and to ensure processes are carried out efficiently effectively and in line with best practice.
• Provide leadership in and work closely with the Management in performing longterm financial planning and analysis aimed at identifying risks opportunities and option that will inform strategies to provide resources for attainment of the university mission.
• Manage the general superintendence and be responsible for all matters relating to administrative business of the institution including all operational matters human resource management facilities management and general administration thereof.
• To assist the management team for developing and implementing policy and practice on both academic and business matters for the effective management of the university as an academic institution as well as a viable business entity.

Requirements:

• Must possess a Bachelors Degree Finance Accountancy Banking Commerce or related field.
• Strong execution skills with solid companywide operational experiences.
• High level of integrity drives and result oriented. Ability to work under extreme pressure and deadlines.
• Previous experience in financial management preferably in the education sector.
• Managers who obtained Chartered Institute of Management Accountant (CIMA) and/or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) will have a stronger advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with strong command in written and spoken English.
  
• Experience of leading a substantial organization team or group.
• Possesses initiative the ability to think independently and a passion for academic excellence

Remunerations & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: RM8000 to RM15000 (negotiable depending on experience)
