Bilingual Medical Claims Administrator 100% Remote

We are currently looking for (2) Bilingual Medical Claims Administrators for one of our clients in the insurance industry.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $22 to $24 based on experience.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime: 37.50 hours per week.
Remote position: Schedule from 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities:

Conduct calculation analysis.
Process benefit payments.
Make necessary adjustments to benefits.
Approve disability benefits and initial payments.
Approve Long Term Disability claims.
Perform financial duties such as stopping payments voiding transactions refunding deposits processing garnishments handling TD1 forms and calculating employment income offsets regularly.
Engage in phone communication (40%) distinct from a call center environment.
Mainly focus on claims adjustment and monitoring plan members.
Complete other related tasks as assigned.

What you will need to succeed:

Postsecondary education in Accounting Commerce or Finance.
Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance terminology an asset.
Knowledge of Group Benefits.
Knowledge of Military Terminology.
Experience in accounting finance payroll bookkeeping benefit payments or related administrative and clerical duties an asset.
Proficiency in Office 365 (Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for numbers invoices and billing.
Strong customer service experience in a demanding environment an asset.
Knowledge or experience in insurance claims.
Excellent organizational skills.
Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with a high level of mathematical aptitude.
Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience working in a doctors office.
Handling medical invoices.
Experience in a similar position.
Knowledge of disability benefits.
Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a close team environment.
Experience with benefits administration preferred.
