*This role can be carried out anywhere in United Kingdom as long as the willingness for frequent business travels to London and across EMEA is given. This will be a temporary employment limited (1 year) with an option for renewal.

Tasks

YOUR CHALLENGES IMPRESSIVE

Job Purpose:

To work as part of the Business Development team to achieve the Company s objectives for business growth. Responsible for project management of the PQQ and tender process whilst producing innovative documents that are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard. Will provide support to BDMs, BDD s and BUSC s and to assist developing new business opportunities.

The role will also include: various internal and external marketing activities, event organisation and marketing presence at industry exhibitions, events and conferences; communications; training, mentoring and supporting BUCs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deal promptly and professionally with all pre-qualifications, distribute documents between BUSCs as necessary and keep BDMs, BDDs and the Sales Director fully updated on progress
  • Identify, review, evaluate and understand the requirements of identified business opportunities and suggest successful strategies for response
  • Complete project management of tenders from initiation to submission of innovative tenders
  • To manage the contributions of others supporting the bid to ensure timely delivery of best quality responses
  • Develop and deliver exceptional tender documents and presentations in line with Company standards, using the specialist support functions (procurement, HR, QHSE etc) as well as local EMEA managers and the BDM / BDD
  • Manage communication between the client and CBRE throughout the bid process (where necessary)
  • Attendance at tender site visits, client meetings and preparation of presentations where necessary
  • Raise the company profile by organising (and where necessary, representing CBRE at industry events, networking events and promoting an image of professionalism always
  • Work closely with the central marketing team to provide draft press releases, ideas for article placement, new brochure content and other support for marketing collateral as necessary
  • Keep Corporate Division BD team and wider division up-to-date with industry developments, maintaining awareness of competitor activity and market trends
  • Liaise with other parts of the CBRE business to develop best practice
  • Work closely with the BDM and BDD to meet the sales targets agreed supporting each local market
  • Develop and build professional customer relationships with existing, new and potential clients. Build relationships with local EMEA operational managers and support functions
  • Develop appropriate systems and structure to ensure a consistent approach to tender opportunities and filter this out to each BUSC/BDM/BDD in-country
  • Maintain and prepare up-to-date input for internal Sales Reporting
  • Manage, maintain and prepare information for Global DCS SharePoint and support Knowledge-Base
  • Maintain records and relevant contract documentation in the support of tenders and re-bids for the Business
  • Assisting Business Development team with preparation of materials for marketing events, presentations and client meetings
  • Act as main contact to Corporate BD team in absence of BDM / BDD and provide any support (administrative or other to team where necessary)
  • One on one training and mentoring of BUSCs to develop PQQ, tender writing skills and train in the tender process
  • Facilitate internal and external training for BDMs and BUSCs
  • Support BDD and BDMs with creative and strategic input
  • Update team diaries with site visits, important dates, deadlines and any other relevant information
  • Support EMEA team with translation, reviewing and client documents in English

Requirements

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS WANTED

  • Higher educational qualifications to degree would be beneficial
  • First relevant experience in a sales environment (number of years of experience is less important than motivation, understanding of the role + the capability to take ownership
  • Ability to influence others and engender confidence Self-motivated
  • Capability to prioritise demands and make decisions under pressure
  • Willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing support to other areas of the business on occasions, as required
  • Good understanding of the requirements of customers in respect of the provision of Facilities Services
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers and suppliers at all levels
  • Excellent IT skills e.g. reporting database management. Teamwork Must demonstrate the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues
  • Reliability to plan and achieve results
  • Positive and self-motivated attitude towards the organisation and the achievement of objectives
  • Performance-driven and determined to complete work effectively on time
  • Good record in meeting tough deadlines and preparing detailed written documents & reports to a high standard
  • capability to deal and cooperate with a wide range of internal stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (must be able to talk to native speakers on the highest levels)
  • Must be detail conscious and methodical in approach and enjoy a fast-paced sales environment
