Location: Stockport SK7

Salary: £40000£50000 a year £10000 performance bonus £5000 on of payment for passing fit persons interview with Ofsted

Schedule: MondayFriday 9am5pm on call rota

Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for making a difference in young lives We are excited to announce an opportunity for a qualified Children's Home Manager to join our dedicated team providing therapeutic residential care for children and young people. In this role you will lead and manage one of our warm and welcoming 4bedroom homes overseeing daytoday operations and providing strong motivational leadership to our committed staff.

As a Children's Home Manager you will be a pivotal part of our mission to create a nurturing and supportive environment for the young people in our care. You will embody the qualities of a responsible and empathetic leader ensuring seamless multiagency collaboration between Care Education and Health sectors. Your decisions will directly impact the development and wellbeing of the children as you guide and support our team in implementing and enhancing care plans.

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Commitment to working with children and young people with complex and challenging highend behavioural needs.
  • Leading and inspiring a staff team and take responsibility of their training development supervisions and rotas.
  • Being a positive role model to the children and young people.
  • Delivering the Children's Standards in the home.
  • Previous management experience in a children’s residential home setting.
  • Ideally you will have a therapeutic background and hold or working towards a level 5 in Children young people and family practitioner qualification however we may consider a deputy who can demonstrate they have 12 months supervisory experience and hold a NVQ level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care for Young people.
