Technical Skills:
7+ years of Strong experience in MS BI Stack SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Analysis Services (SSAS), Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSRS and Power BI.
5+ years practical experience with business intelligence solution including building/supporting data-intensive systems, data warehouses and data marts with clear understanding of industry standard concepts (star schema, snowflake, ER)
5+ years hands on experience in Data Visualization or advance analytics using Power BI
Strong knowledge of DAX and utilizing it to create complex queries and drive dynamic visualizations within Power BI is required
Expertise in SQL, ELT/ETL, reporting and Visual Analytics tools including SSMS, SSRS, SSIS and Power BI, with proven implementation and adoption in a large-scale enterprise environment
Ability to design and develop dashboards, scorecards and KPIs using SSRS
Solid T-SQL knowledge and SQL query development using MS SQL 2014 or later
Expertise skills in data visualization, user interface design and the software development life cycle to develop data products and expertise in demonstrating the work to business groups.
Experience in creating and deploying parameterized reports, creating hierarchies using power BI.
Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
Should be able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
Assist in planning and managing the deployment of solutions to dev, test, and production environments using automation.
Collaborate with development teams to design, develop, maintain, and deploy SQL database systems, Azure SQL, and Power BI
Collaborate and plan project tasks within an agile development environment.
Working and collaborating with business partners, product owners, developers, and data engineers to maintain and develop new solutions.
Determine and implement the security model based on business requirements, confirm safeguards are followed, address any data quality issues, and data governance processes are followed for the data model.
Nice to have working knowledge in MDS (Master Data Services).
Excellent analytical & troubleshooting and remediation capabilities
Experience translating complex problems into technical specifications
Strong ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
