Backend Java Developer

Title: JAVA DEVELOPER

Location: Stamford CT or Weehawken NJ (Once a week onsite)

Duration: 1 year contract

Important Notes:

This person must be willing to do Production support and Java Development.

Must have 3 years of core java, Oracle experience & have Autosys experience.

General Experience:

3 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years of programming/development experience.

Preferably experienced in the Banking/Finance sector.

Prior experience in managing and handling huge batch processing application will be a big plus.

Education & Qualification:

BS/Engineering graduation in Computer Science or equivalent.

Shell scripting in Linux

Memory Management

Good/Intermediate knowledge in:

Load balancing

DB performance tuning

FitNesse acceptance testing

Maven, Unix

Nice to have

Experience having engaged with various stakeholders (Business users, BA's & support analysts) at different management levels.

Expertise in Resolution, Problem/Incident Management, Operational Readiness, Application Monitoring, Service Analytics and Reporting, Incident Triage and Change/Configuration Management.
