We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our clients team. You will play a pivotal role in designing deploying and maintaining the core infrastructure components of Azure cloud environments. Leveraging your expertise in Azure services Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and security best practices you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure the reliability scalability and security of our Azure infrastructure solutions. Tasks

• Design deploy and maintain resilient Azure infrastructure solutions ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
• Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to understand and analyze infrastructure requirements providing expertise and guidance as needed.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to automate provisioning and management tasks leveraging tools such as Terraform to streamline deployment processes.
• Configure and oversee Azure services including virtual machines networking storage and identity services adhering to best practices and security standards.
• Develop and implement robust security measures to safeguard Azure environments ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure issues using advanced logging and monitoring tools like Splunk Datadog or ELK/Kibana and promptly resolve incidents to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and development teams to optimize deployment pipelines enhance system efficiency and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on Azure updates emerging technologies and industry best practices providing recommendations for enhancing infrastructure performance and security.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• 2 years of handson experience deploying infrastructure to Azure platforms.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools with a minimum of 1 year of experience using Terraform or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of version control systems such as Git GitLab or GitHub with at least 1 year of practical experience.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines in any templatized format for automated deployment workflows.
• Proficient in Bash scripting and at least one ObjectOriented Programming (OOP) language.
• Proven track record as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer or similar role with indepth knowledge of Azure services and architecture.
• Familiarity with networking concepts protocols and security principles.
• Azure certifications (e.g. AZ104 AZ300 AZ303 AZ304 AZ900) are highly desirable.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira with exposure to Agile team environments.
• Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have

• Azure Architect certification (AZ303 AZ304).
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) accreditation.
• Familiarity with additional cloud platforms such as AWS and technologies like Apache Airflow and Snowflake.
• Ability to administer and execute basic SQL queries in relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
