Job Overview:

As an Azure DevOps Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of our applications. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to streamline the software delivery process automate workflows and enhance the overall efficiency of our development pipeline. The ideal candidate should have handson experience with Azure DevOps strong expertise in creating and managing deployment pipelines and proficiency in working with Azure Function Apps.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure DevOps Implementation:

• Design implement and maintain Azure DevOps solutions to automate build deployment and release processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and configure CI/CD pipelines accordingly.

Deployment Pipeline Management:

• Create and manage deployment pipelines for various applications ensuring reliability scalability and security.
• Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) to streamline the software release process.

Azure Function Apps:

• Develop and maintain Azure Function Apps to support scalable and serverless architecture.
• Troubleshoot and optimize function apps to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code principles to automate the provisioning and management of Azure resources.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure templates using tools like ARM templates or Terraform.

Monitoring and Optimization:

• Implement monitoring solutions for deployed applications and infrastructure components.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and performance tuning in the Azure environment.

Collaboration and Documentation:

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Document deployment processes configurations and troubleshooting guides for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Handson experience with Azure Function Apps and serverless computing.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell Python etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM templates Terraform).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
