Talent Platform Recruiting AVP/Director

We are looking for a senior Talent Platform Company professional to lead the Global Recruiting team for our client who is a leader in Data for AI and Globalization. This position will manage thebuilding, nurturing and leveraging their globaltalent community, and a collaborative in-house team of around 40 recruiters.

The Recruiting AVP/Director is a key role in ensuring the availability of the right contingent workforce for the Company s success and growth. The perfect candidate will have extensive experience managing recruitment teams in online talent platform companies, and reside in one of these geographies: India, Spain, Argentina or the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a global team of recruiters and community marketing managers located in the Philippines, China, India, Europe and Argentina.
  • Overseeing active talent acquisition and selection activities and providing the necessary support to ensure successful fulfilment of resource requests and needs.
  • Defining recruitment team goals in alignment with Company strategy.
  • Working with Sales and Delivery teams on strategic projects to provide talent-related information, participating in client-facing business activities as needed.
  • Liaising with Company stakeholders to anticipate and plan for future talent needs.
  • Designing the creation of new strategic talent pools: new services, new verticals, new markets, etc.
  • Working with Recruitment team leads to evaluate talent acquisition and engagement processes and implement improvements for increased team productivities and effectiveness.
  • Working with community marketing team to design recruitment B2C strategy for best talent acquisition and engagement results.
  • Analyzing global markets to follow talent development and costing trends.
  • Manage advertising costs and overall team spend in adherence with predefined budget

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building and leveraging remote talent pools for the Globalization AI Data industry or other platform companies demanding extensive global online crowds.
  • 5+ years of experience managing global crowd recruiting teams. We will also consider candidates who have managed other global teams working with platform-based talent pools.
  • Excellent communication skills and networking abilities.
  • Fluent in English, other foreign languages are a plus.
  • Excellent web research skills and analytical abilities.
  • Advanced user of online networks and communities.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Proactive approach to process improvements, creative thinker.
  • Leadership qualities including the ability to give/take feedback, recognition of when to delegate, and confidence.
