Title: Assembly Line Operative

Sector: Vehicle Manufacturing

Position: Full-time

Location: Devon, United Kingdom

Salary:

Starting at 10.50 p.h.

Working Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts.
  
• Monday-Friday.
  

The Role:

• Carry out tasks using various pressurised air tools, e.g., rivet guns.
  
• Construct and/or convert company products as per guidelines.
  
• Repair and assemble commercial vehicle bodies, chassis, and cabs such as Tippers, Dropsides, and low-floor Luton Vans.
  
• Carry out regular quality checks.
  
• Work in a safe and organised manner.
  
• Follow and adhere to all company policies.
  
• Carry out all tasks as directed.
  

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  
• Industry experience; manufacturing or assembly background, preferably automotive/vehicle building.
  
• Comfortable and confident using pneumatic/electrical tools.
  
• Hardworking attitude.
  
• Fine eye for detail.
  
• Able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.
  
• Self-motivated.
  
• High standards of English (written/reading/oral) required.
  
• Good communicator.
  
• Excellent team player.
