Perform a variety of repetitive bench and floor operations to assemble all types of steel and aluminum material handling
products.
Follow order sheets, drawings, established procedures and routines, written and verbal instructions. Gather and check
parts and sub-assemblies prior to assembly operations. Locate, align and install all sub-assemblies and component parts
such as wheels, brakes, jacks, power supply devices and lifting platforms. Use a variety of hand and power tools. Perform
fitting, finishing and adjusting to obtain quality results. Inform supervisor of any problems such as missing or defective
parts, incomplete order information or any other matter that could delay the on-time shipment of an order. Perform routine
operational tests to ensure the products function properly. Instruct and assist less knowledgeable personnel as necessary.
Maintain equipment in good operating condition. Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working area. Observe all company rules and regulations including safety, use of
personal protective equipment and quality of work.
Requirements
1. Must have at least one year of experience in assembly operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be fully mobile, with complete use of both arms and legs. Must be capable of standing for prolonged periods.
2. Must be capable of lifting cartons, tubs and parts weighing up to 70 pounds.
