- BS/MS/PhD degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Practical experience applying machine learning to solve complex problems
- Hands-on experience programming in Python, Matlab, R, Java, C#, C++, or other similar programming languages
- Proficiency in algorithm and model development, model validation, and model implementation for large-scale applications
- Experience distilling customer requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity, and competing objectives with perseverance
- Strong communication and data presentation skills
- Ability to develop practical solutions to complex problems
