Job Description
Lithe is looking to recruit a team of highly skilled and experienced Analog Design Engineers with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience to join our innovative team at our onsite location in Sicily, Italy. As an Analog Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of advanced analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, with a specific focus on CMOS and PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) technologies. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge microelectronic solutions that drive our global leadership in the industry. This is chip-level analog design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of analog and mixed-signal circuits, emphasising CMOS and PLL technologies, ensuring designs meet performance, power, and area targets.
- Utilize your deep expertise in analog circuitry to innovate and optimize circuit blocks, demonstrating a thorough understanding of noise, linearity, and stability considerations.
- Collaborate effectively with digital design, verification, and layout teams to ensure seamless integration of analog and digital components.
- Participate in architecture definition, feasibility studies, and design reviews, contributing your technical insights to drive project success.
- Leverage your troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve design issues, and support silicon validation activities to ensure first-pass success.
Requirements
Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design, with a proven track record in CMOS and PLL design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and methodologies, including schematic capture, simulation, layout, and verification.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics, analog design principles, and circuit simulation techniques.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for design automation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian is a plus.

- All applicants must either live a daily commutable distance from Catania, Sicily, or else be prepared to relocate there. (My client will consider providing relocation assistance).
