As an Accounts Payable Director, you will play a key role in overseeing the end-to-end Procure to Pay process and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies, while building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and other departments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the end-to-end Procure to Pay process
- Develop improvement plans and strategic guidelines for the department
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and other departments, and work collaboratively to improve processes and resolve issues.
- Oversee integration activities for Accounts Payable in M&A process, and ensure the appropriate internal control environment is maintained.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing training and constructive feedback to support their growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of accounts payable experience in a mid-size to large company environment, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior accounts payable leadership role.
- Big-picture thinker with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to hold their own in conversations with divisional leadership.
- Confident and not afraid to take on challenges, with a willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
