Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills a strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Obtain proper approval and coding for all invoices and expense reports.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Process payments to vendors via check ACH or wire transfer ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate accounts payable records and vendor files.
  • Assist with monthend closing activities including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts payable aging and follow up on past due invoices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred.
  • 25 years of accounts payable experience required preferably in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP or Oracle) preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
