Position Summary

The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT is seeking to recruit an Accounts Accounts Analyst will be part of the accounting team and will have the responsibility of providing timely and efficient accounting support to the Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT offices in The Accounts Analyst will report to Senior

Responsibilities

• Checking for accuracy, preparing, and posting cost recovery journals including vehicle mileage, and lease costset cetera
  
• Posting of financial transactions using Agresso
• Travel review (preparation of JVs, PVs, credit card reconciliation)

• Analysis of receivable and payable

• Supporting specific sub-regional offices ensuring proper posting of

• Maintain a digital document management and archiving integrated

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant field with proven finance and accounting skills

• Should have attained full CPA part II qualification or equivalent

• At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in a closely related field gained in an international

• Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS s

• High level of computer skills, ability to handle complex financial and accounting systems including knowledge of financial ERP systems and ability to learn new applications

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, but also participate as a team member in accomplishment of
